2019-2020 Senior Capstone

Important note about these archives:

As of August 1, 2022, the original Capstone website provider, Weebly, deleted all student-designed websites. To preserve the incredible work that Senior Capstone students housed there, we have tried to capture the texts and other materials, wherever possible, in an array of PDF files. This is obviously not ideal, but at least enables viewers to get a sense of the work students did.

Equally frustrating has been the policy of the Boston Public Schools to close student gmail addresses upon graduation, thereby risking loss of the extensive work students did and submitted via Google platforms, including Google classroom. Again, we have tried to preserve everything we could by copying these documents.

Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, students will be using a different platform--Google sites--to construct websites that will be under the Senior Capstone gmail account and, we hope, will endure. These will be housed and linked to this website.

The outbreak of COVID-19 prevented us from doing in-person TEDx-style talks. We never succeeded in taking a class photo this year, so the image from our SIS roster will have to suffice. TEDx-style talks were broadcast using Loom, which featured tiny images of the speakers in the corner of the screen, narrating the slides used by students as part of their TEDx talks.
